FORE! ("we", "us") is a social golf application that lets users record their rounds, share results with friends, and participate in groups.

2. Data we collect

• Account: email, name, username, profile photo, bio, and club.
• Content: rounds, scorecards, posts, comments, reactions, group messages, and images you upload.
• Usage: basic technical data (device type, version, errors) to keep the app running.

We do not collect background location data or health information.

3. How we use your data

• Provide the service: save your rounds, show your profile, send in-app notifications.
• Improve the experience and fix bugs.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for third-party advertising.

4. Sharing with third parties

We use providers to host data (Supabase, Cloudflare). These providers process data following our instructions and security standards.

5. Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we immediately and irreversibly remove your profile, rounds, posts, comments, and messages.

6. Your rights

You can access, correct, or delete your data at any time from Profile → Edit or Profile → Delete my account. You can also contact us to exercise your rights under GDPR / CCPA.

7. Minors

FORE! is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. We will notify you in the app when there are material changes.

10. User content, copyright, and liability

FORE! is a user-generated content platform. All photos, images, videos, scorecards, posts, comments, messages, and other content submitted by users ("User Content") are the sole responsibility of the user who posted them. FORE! does not create, endorse, verify, or claim ownership of User Content.

Copyright and intellectual property: Users are solely responsible for ensuring they have all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to any image, photo, video, or other material they upload or post. FORE! is not responsible or liable for any copyright, trademark, right of publicity, or other intellectual property infringement arising from User Content. If you believe content on FORE! infringes your copyright, contact us at hello@golffore.app and we will review takedown requests in accordance with applicable law (including the DMCA).

No liability for User Content: To the maximum extent permitted by law, FORE!, its owners, operators, and affiliates disclaim any and all liability for statements, opinions, images, or other content posted, shared, or transmitted by users through the app, including but not limited to any content that is defamatory, offensive, inaccurate, harassing, infringing, or otherwise unlawful. Users interact and post at their own risk.
